Ooredoo Gaming Cup (‘Gaming Cup’) is a mobile game portal that offers all types of mobile game, web game and tournament game available on smartphones. By participating in the Tournament, the Participants (‘Participants’) hereby agree to be bound by these terms and conditions which shall form an integral part of, and to be read together with, the terms and conditions of the Participants’ registration form (“’) and/or terms and conditions of the respective mobile/content service(s) offered and relevant to the Participants in respect of the Tournament.

In the event of a conflict or inconsistency between these terms and conditions and CRF and/or terms and conditions of the respective mobile/content service(s), such inconsistency shall be resolved by giving precedence in the following decreasing order:

  • these terms and conditions;
  • Tournament rules;
  • terms and conditions of CRF; and
  • terms and conditions of the respective mobile/content service(s).


1.1 The Organiser reserves the sole and absolute right to withdraw, amend, omit and/or vary any part or the whole of the Terms and Conditions of this Tournament with a prior notice to the Participants herein stated and the Participants shall be bound to observe, perform and comply with the terms and conditions herein and any amendments thereof so notified to the Participants.

1.2 The Organiser’s decisions on any matter relating to the Tournament are final and binding on all Participants. If any matters were to arise which are not covered in these terms and conditions, these matters will be determined solely by the Organiser.

1.3 The Organiser may change any of these terms and conditions including terminating or suspending the Tournament and extending the Tournament Period (as hereinafter defined). Any such change will be announced via the website. It is your responsibility to check these terms and conditions on the website and if you do not agree to any of the changes, you must immediately cease participation in the Tournament.

1.4 Except as expressly mentioned herein, the Organiser shall not be responsible for any expenses and costs incurred by a Participant, including out-of-pocket expenses related to or as a consequence of participating in this Tournament.

Fair Play 2.1 All Participants are expected to play at their best at all times without getting involved in the following offences:




Co-operation with competing participants to cheat or deceive in order to gain an unfair advantage. Acts of collusion include, but are not limited to:

·         Soft play (Any agreement among participants to not play at a reasonable or expected standard of competition in a game)

·         Prior arrangements to split tournament prizes

·         Receiving information and signals from external sources during a match

·         Losing ddeliberately


Any modification of the Garena Free Fire game client, and the use of any 3rd party apps within the game is strictly prohibited


Deliberate abuse of bugs to gain an advantage


Using another player or participant’s account


Strictly not allowed; if players are found using PC emulators their squad will be disqualified

2.2 The Organiser shall have the right, at its own discretion, to disqualify, exclude or eliminate the Participants from participation in the Tournament, to refuse awarding the prize and to demand the return of any previously awarded prizes in the Tournament in the event that Participants committed any offences as specified in Clause 2.1 above.

2.3 The Organiser shall have the right to review participants’ requests for a rematch due to suspicion of the above offences. The Organiser’s final decision is binding on all participants.

Tournament Details

The Organiser reserves the right to change the below information at any time without prior notice.

3.1 Participants’ Eligibility

3.1.2 The Participant must be the sole owner of the Ooredoo SIM card subscription and the mobile number (MSISDN) used in the Tournament. The Participant is not allowed to appoint any other individual to represent him or her in the Tournament.

3.1.3 The Tournament is open to all Citizens of Qatar who are 18 years old or more with a valid QID .

3.1.3 The Participant must be a valid user of Ooredoo Qatar.

3.1.4 For clarity, the following personnel shall not be eligible to participate in any Tournament:

The Organiser’s employees (including employees of its related corporation), their advertising agency and their immediate family members; and

For clarity, immediate family members shall be:

• For unmarried/single employees – their parents and sibling(s) and spouse(s) of the sibling(s); and

• For married employees – their spouse(s), parents and children (including adopted children).

3.1.5 Disqualification

The Organiser reserves the right to reject any entries at its discretion subject to Clause 2 and Clause of these terms and conditions.

3.1.6 Leaderboard

The Leaderboard is place where entrants’ ID and positions will be featured (‘leaderboard’). Leaderboard will be featured at http://www.ooredoogamingcup.com/

Only top 100 ID and scores will be uploaded on the leaderboard

3.2 Tournament registration

Participants are required to go through the processes of registration for Ooredoo Gaming Cup and Free Fire account verification (as hereinafter defined) in order to join the Tournament. During an event in which successfully registered Participants unsubscribe from Ooredoo Gaming Cup as specified in Clause, get suspended in Free Fire as specified in Clause or leave their Squad (as hereinafter defined) as specified in Clause 3.2.4, Participants are disqualified until the situation is rectified (as shall be confirmed to be rectified by a written notice by the Organiser).

3.2.1 Registration on Ooredoo Gaming Cup A Participant needs to register on Ooredoo Gaming Cup (‘Registration’) to join the Tournament. The Participant’s registration on Ooredoo Gaming Cup will be subject to a subscription fee of QR3/day including tax (‘Registration Fee’). Upon successful Registration, the Participant shall receive an SMS confirmation of the Participants’ registration. Any applicable refund will be based on genuine complaints which are supported by logged data (‘the log’). A registered Participant must at all times comply with these Terms and Conditions.

3.2.2 Free Fire player account A Participant is required to use his or her own Free Fire accounts with unique ID and nickname in the Tournament. There is no rank, character, skill, loadout, costume, fashion, vault, or collection restrictions or requirements. Each Participant can only use one (1) Free Fire player account throughout the Tournament Period as specified in Clause 3.3.1. If a Participant’s Free Fire player account is suspended, the Participant will be removed from the leaderboard. A Participant whose Free Fire player account is suspended may join the Tournament when the suspension is lifted. However, the previous ranking will no longer be available and will not be taken into consideration for the Tournament.

3.3 Tournament mechanism

3.3.1 Timeline

Solo Mode Series 1 will start on (GMT+8) 12.01 pm of 28 December 2020 to (GMT+8) 12.00 pm of 27 April 2021 

Solo Mode Series 2 will start on (GMT+8) 12.01 pm of 28 April 2021 to (GMT+8) 12.00 pm of  27 August 2021 

3.3.2 The Participant joins the Tournament as a Solo Player.

3.3.3 At the end of every solo series, top 48 Solo Players in the leaderboard will be selected to create a squad of four (4).

3.3.4 After squad creation is complete, each of the squad will be given 30 days to practice in the newly formed squad. On 31st day, a tournament will be held.

3.3.5 This mechanism will be repeated for next four (4) months.

3.3.6 The Participant The results of those Solo Players with the highest score earned during the Solo Tournament will be uploaded to the Solo Leaderboard. In the event there are two (2) or more Solo Players who achieved the same score by the end of the Solo Tournament (a tied score), the Solo Player who attained the first tied score will be ahead of the other Solo player who attained the same score at a later time.

3.3.7 Squad Each Participant can be a member of only one (1) Squad throughout the Tournament. The member who has the highest score among the other members in the same Squad, is automatically the Squad Leader. A Squad may not change its squad name throughout the Tournament Period as specified in Clause 3.3. Changes of squad name can lead to disqualification from the Tournament. If the Squad Leader leaves the Squad, the person who has the second highest score automatically becomes the new Squad Leader.

3.5.3 The prize is non-transferable. The prize is given on an ‘as is, where is’ basis. The Organiser reserves the right to substitute and replace the prize offered with another prize of equal value or higher value as the Organiser deems fit, without prior notice.

3.5.4 The prize winners must collect the prizes during a specified period and at the venue specified by the Organiser and may be required to attend a prize-giving ceremony. If the winners fail to collect the prize during the prize collection period of two (2) weeks or, if called upon to attend a prize-giving ceremony fail to attend at such a prize-giving ceremony, the Organiser shall have the right to select another Squad as the winner.

3.5.5 The winners are required to bring along original identification (Valid QID) for verification purposes during collection of the prize. The prize winners are required to furnish their bank account details for distribution of the prizes. The Organiser shall not be held liable for non-receipt or delay in distribution of the prizes in the event of invalid, inaccurate or incomplete bank account details provided by the winners or their representative. Prior notification to the Organiser is required should the winners send a representative to collect the said prize.

3.5.6 The winners will each win one (1) unit of the prizes (‘Prizes’) depending on their scores during the Tournament stages.

4. Privacy Policy

Upon the completion of registration for the Tournament, Participants consent to allow the Organiser to:

4.1 Collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose their personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to participation in the Tournament.

4.2 Disclose or publish their personal information such as their names and identities and any general information about the Participants, as the Organiser sees fit, in any media, marketing or advertising materials.

4.3 Grant the Organiser the absolute and unrestricted right to modify, use and publish any still or moving images of the Participants for any promotional, marketing, commercial or other related purpose, without any payment or compensation.

5. Exclusion of Liability

5.1 To the extent permitted by law, the Organiser is excluded from all liability in connection with the Tournament. All Participants agree to release the Organiser from and indemnify the Organiser against all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury or for any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct or indirect, special or consequential arising out of participation in the Tournament.

5.2 The content provided on the website and any other information provided in relation to the game and Tournament is strictly on an ‘as is, where is’ basis. The Organiser does not guarantee true and flawless representation of the game and the Tournament, nor is this warranted by virtue of the Organiser’s status.

5.3 The Organiser disclaims any responsibility and liability for any loss and disruption caused by the malfunction of a mobile phone, viruses or other contamination which is beyond the control of the Organizer.

5.4 Once the game has commenced, any Participants’ inability to play due to faulty hardware or any malfunction on the mobile phone or any other technical failures which are beyond the control of the Organiser shall not entitle the Participants to any refund of the registration charges.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 The information contained herein on websites and Tournament which includes but is not limited to texts, graphics, photos, sounds, video, software, interactive features and trademarks, service marks and logos shall be solely owned by the Organiser and the Participants undertake not to misuse any of the information contained herein.

6.2 The Organiser reserves the right to terminate and revoke the Participants’ registration and participation in the Tournament if the Participants violate the provision in relation to intellectual property rights contained herein.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The Tournament(s) and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Qatar. The Participants agree that the Courts of Qatar shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over all matters arising from the Tournament.

Force Majeure

Neither party shall be responsible for its failure to perform due to causes beyond its reasonable control such as acts of God, fire, theft, war, riot, embargoes or acts of civil or military authorities.

No Waiver

Failure by either party to enforce any provision of these terms and conditions will not be deemed a waiver of future enforcement of that or any other provision.


If for any reason a court of competent jurisdiction finds any provision of these Terms and Conditions, or portion thereof, to be unenforceable, that provision of the Terms and Conditions will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible so as to effect the intent of the parties, and the remainder of these Terms and Conditions will continue in full force and effect.
